The Artist Micro Award
The Artist Micro Award is a result of the relationship The Search Party’s Artistic Director Mindy Parfitt and Emmanuela Droko from Hogan’s Alley Society formed during the production of Fairview. The Micro Award was created out of a mutual love of theatre and a desire to highlight and support a local Black artist. It is an opportunity for the two organizations to work together – bridging the gap between social activism and the arts.
Committed to cultivating true collaboration, the Search Party prioritizes productive, harmonious working communities at all levels of production, based on mutual respect, curiosity, rigour, self-examination and authenticity.
