Mindy Parfitt

Artistic Director

Mindy is the founder and artistic director of The Search Party and has directed/co-directed all the company’s productions. She was born and resides on unceded Coast Salish territory. She is a graduate of both Concordia University (BFA) and UBC (MFA) and has studied with national and international acting and directing teachers. Her work has been nominated for and the recipient of numerous Jessie Richardson Awards. Mindy has the great fortune of working on a wide variety of theatre productions as a freelance director, theatre creator and mentor.

She was also a founding member and Co-Artistic Director of Horseshoes & Hand Grenades for whom she directed numerous shows including This Stays in the Room, which won a Jessie for Critic’s Choice award.
